How it all started
Mackinlay Belle was founded by Medge Beauvoir-Yellowlees, a proud mom of two from Toronto, Canada. When she became a mother, she realized there was a need for clothing that was not only stylish but also comfortable and kind to the planet. Nearly nine years later, Mackinlay Belle was born, named after her children Julien Mackinlay Yellowlees and Harper Belle Yellowlees.
